Hello!

My first post! How exciting to all the followers I don't yet have. (Hi, mom!)

I'll begin by telling you a bit about me. How does that sound? Wonderful.

You can call me Renee. I am a twenty-something year old graduate student at a university in the beautiful southeastern part of North America. I am working towards my Master of Education in Educational Media and Educational Technology with a School Library Media Concentration. I am beginning this blog as a school assignment, but I am excited to see where it leads.

I’m a mom to the most amazing (almost) two year old boy.  Wife to a pretty stellar guy. I am passionate about the importance of reading and literature and hope to blog about things that other aspiring educators/librarians find interesting and helpful. But first I'll begin with my assignments for this class, a sort of professional portfolio if you will. Hello to anyone who accidentally stumbles upon this blog!
